Nash equilibrium is when two people or groups have a choice and if they both make a greater choice they will both reach the goal or make a ton of money. If one makes a god choice and the other plays it safe on makes more than the other if they both play it safe than little is gained but hopefully everyone gets something.

Game theory is the strategy of making the better choice. This can be applied in war business and other things.

Prisoner’s dilemma is when two prisoners are affected by the choice of the other as much as their own this makes it more likely that prisoners will plead guilty.

The way to get the best score is to always go for the higher of the scores stealing typically leads to loss. The only way to win was to cooperate all the time. If you steal you break the trust and then both people lose. But if both cooperate both achieve more. Now if one made a bad choice every time than one could just dominate but if they have some intelligence than you both need to be a team.

History stores competing for customers

Government they try to figure out what the other party is doing

Economic competing for customers

Sociology how a group of people will think

Psychology how an individual will think

Every day life how others react to what I say

I loved the oil pricing activity we had to think like the other team and see if they were lying or if they are telling the truth. It was fun until they just went the low one to win or tie and then it was lame I also hated when I betrayed my team and no team believed me. I give it an 8 because of the tearing the class apart but everything else was great. Always have a negotiation after every round.

I just took a Rorschach Inkblot test and I diagnose myself a very normal person. I did not see anything sexual but once pointed out I totally saw them. Most of my answers where normal compared to others. I saw moths, dancers, animals faces, and a guitar. I did not know that there was color in them so when I saw that it hit me by surprise. I feel this test in not very accurate it could help a psychologist feel like the patent should be evaluated more but not a solid this person is paranoid. I do not feel Brent is paranoid or schizophrenic. I already knew James was mentally defective he did not need to take a test to tell me that. On the one with two girls with the up pony tails up or plate 7 I saw a canyon if you were floating down the river and there was trees and stuff. Did not hear many other peoples answers but I am confident that the class did fairly normal. I did not see any weapons or scary masks so I am not paranoid or violent I do not has schizophrenia to my knowledge and this test show that I have no signs.

At work last summer I had to train a new employee. The way I did it is I did the first little bit of the task and then I let her do the rest. I set one of the tables and then watched her set the next one. If at any time she messed up I told her what she did wrong and how she could fix it. If I could I would also say why we have to do it this way. This is the same method I used later when I had to train another employee. I showed them how let them do it tell them how and if I could why. I know I did a good job because my employer says I did a good job and that is why I get to train people.

I would love to learn the way people and why they think that way. The mind and its proses have always interested me. It is simply fascinating how different people will interpret one thing completely differently. But some people will see the same thing from two unrelated objects. I feel that with Mr.Reints it will be a fun and energetic class just like him. I have actually been looking forward to the class because psychology is very interesting.  I hope we do a ton of in class examples because I have always found them fun. I just wish it was a full year class and not just a semester.

In class we have been talking about Ebola. Ebola is a very contagious disease that is very deadly. There is a 10% of surviving. The Ebola virus has been around for years but this resent strain has been hard to contain and is spreading to other countries including the U.S.

There are five strains of the virus: Sudan ebolavirus, Tai Forest ebolavirus, Reston ebolavirus, Bundibugyo ebolavirus, and the current strain Zaire ebolavirus. The current one causes: fever, rash, vomiting, diarrhea, and hemorrhaging. All of these symptoms together can kill. Hemorrhaging is a very dangerous on its own because it causes blood to escape blood vessels and it goes into the surrounding tissues. If hemorrhaging where to happen in the lungs one would choke on their own blood and send them into a state of shock.

I learned that the main way to fight the disease is to prevent it from spreading. The way to do that is to quarantine everybody with the disease. We are not handling this well because the workers keep getting themselves exposed to the virus. If they keep exposing themselves to the virus and then going on to planes or other public transportation it will become very dangerous.

I feel that Ebola will be the Black Death all over again. Many people will die and it will be worldwide. If countries don’t help each other it will be too late and so many people will be dying or already dead. It will eventually die out like the Black Death, but we will go from 7 billion to 700 million. If this happens the world will need to change because many will have died, from doctors, to builders, to shop owners, to world leaders. None will be safe.

If we come together as a world I believe we can stop this disease. I don’t think we can cure it but stop it. The disease will return in the future like it has before and there will be plenty of strains that come up over the years. It will have a huge impact on the whole world because it will stop travel and cost a lot of money impacting trade and tourism. Trade and tourism have a huge roll with globalization because trade brings in other cultures and sends out some of your own. Tourism allows people to experience the other culture first hand. This disease will have a huge impact on the world because it will affect the world.
